Join to apply for the Cleaning Operative role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Deliver excellent service standards for routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery meets all SLA agreements while adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Main Duties

1. Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role successfully.
2. Work within a team and on own initiative.
3. Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
4. Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness, following the contract and SLAs, and carry out all scheduled tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
5. Ensure effective and efficient service delivery to a high standard.
6. Keep all equipment clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.
7. Report any maintenance issues identified during cleaning tasks.
8. Maintain security by locking doors and following lost property procedures.
9. Understand the designated cleaning area, work specifications, and time allocations.
10. Have knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals used by Mitie.
11. Set a good example in dress, behavior, punctuality, and attendance.
12. Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns as per Mitie policy.
13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
14. Ensure contractors and visitors comply with security and health and safety policies.
15. Build positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent service and seeking continuous improvement.
16. Perform any other duties within capability as needed.
