Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is hiring a Cleaning Operative to join our team at a prestigious client site in Burton upon Trent. You will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing floors, and waste disposal, with full training provided.

Hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-12:30 and Sun 08:00-12:30. You will work both alone and as part of a team, with opportunities for progression and ongoing training. Full uniform, holidays and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience would be preferred, but full training will be provided.
• Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surfaces and keeping areas tidy.
• Daily cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Perform sweeping, scrubbing and mopping tasks.
• Dispose of waste from bins and containers; polish if required.
• Clean sinks, basins and toilets; clean windows/glass surfaces if needed.
• Operate floor scrubber/dryer and ride-on machines.
• Occasionally undertake pit cleaning and other duties in maintenance shed.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Cleaning Operative who will work at our client's prestigious site. Duties as a Cleaning Operative

• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy


• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment


• Full training in the operation of this equipment will be provided


• A practical and theory test will need to be completed and passed after training


• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping


• Disposing of trash from bins and containers


• Polishing if necessary


• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms


• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, if needed


• Use of floor scrubber dryer and ride on machines


• Requirement at times to undertake pit cleaning as well as other cleaning duties in maintenance shed. Are you comfortable working alone and in a team?


• Do you have the ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload?
