Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our client’s prestigious site, delivering high standards of cleanliness and maintenance every day. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, vacuuming, dusting, and use of floor equipment.

Full training will be provided, including practical and theory assessments after training, with opportunities for progression within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred, but full training will be provided.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a changing workload.
• Comfortable working both alone and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping and polishing.
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, windows and general surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubber and ride-on machines.
• Dispose of waste and keep areas neat and tidy.
• Participate in periodic maintenance and training tests.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for aCleaning Operative who will work at our client’s prestigious site.

Duties as a Cleaning Operative

• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment
• Full training in the operation of this equipment will be provided
• A practical and theory test will need to be completed and passed after training
• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing if necessary
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, if needed
• Use of floor scrubber dryer and ride on machines
• Requirement at times to undertake pit cleaning as well as other cleaning duties in maintenance shed.

Job role requirements as a Cleaner

• Are you comfortable working alone and in a team?
• Do you have the ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload?
• Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided.
