Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for our FM segment, based at South Bromsgrove High School in Bromsgrove. Working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6.00pm, 43 Weeks per year.

Pay: £13.28 Per Hour. Experience in cleaning is desirable; we provide a supportive environment with emphasis on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean in accord with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collecting and appropriate disposing of waste.
• Clean and maintain waste bins.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment & other maintenance requirements to appropriate person.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff & visitors at all times.
• Ensure compliance by self and others with all health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.
