Job summary

ABM is hiring a Cleaner for New Square, a busy shopping centre in West Bromwich town centre. The role is 25 hours per week on a 5 on/2 off pattern with flexible scheduling, offering an on-site position at B70 7PP.

You will perform basic cleaning to required standards, work independently, and represent ABM professionally. Training will be provided, and a good level of English is essential for communication with staff and customers.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency for speaking and writing.
• Experience in cleaning desirable, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all the basic cleaning on-site.
• Work on their own initiative and ensure area meets cleaning standards.
• Represent ABM and its client in a professional manner.
• Perform all tasks as requested by supervisor and site job spec.
• Attend training and implement correct cleaning methods.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Show courtesy to all staff and customers.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Be responsible for all the basic cleaning on-site.
• Work on their own initiative and ensure that their area of responsibility is to the cleaning standards set by the company.
• Be expected to represent ABM and its client in a professional manner, demonstrating the highest of Company Standards.
• Perform all tasks as requested by immediate supervisor/manager and as detailed in the job specification for the particular site in question.
• Participate/attend in all training and implement the correct cleaning methods at all times.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Show courtesy to all members of staff and customers.

• Good level of English both verbal & written.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable, however full training will be provided
