Job summary

OCS is seeking a Cleaning Manager in Glasgow to lead a dedicated cleaning team and oversee all cleaning duties across floors, washrooms and communal areas. You will manage rotas, holidays, site audits and recruitment while ensuring on-site health and safety and quality standards are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have previous managerial or supervisory experience in cleaning, strong customer service skills, and the ability to train staff and handle HR-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or similar field is desirable.
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise; flexible with hours and days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells and washrooms and other ad hoc areas.
• Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruitment as required.
• Identify training needs on-site and conduct training; maintain training records.
• Assist with investigations such as accidents or potential disciplinary matters.
• Monitor cleaning products on-site, maintain stock levels and submit orders within budgets.
