Job summary

Bidvest Noonan Group is seeking a CET Cleaner in the United Kingdom. The role involves cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and keeping areas tidy, plus operating a mobile CET machine and maintaining the toilet systems on trains.

Training will be provided, and a practical test will be required after training. The position includes full uniform, paid holidays, a pension plan, ongoing training, and progression opportunities within a long-standing, community-focused company.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working alone and in a team.
• Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload.
• Cleaning experience preferred, but full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean duties: vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and keep areas neat and tidy.
• Operate a mobile CET (controlled emission toilet) machine.
• Mechanically empty trains toilet system and resupply with fresh water.
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.

Job description

Duties as a CET Cleaner

• Cleaning duties which including, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
• Operate a mobile CET (controlled emission toilet) machine
• Mechanically empty a trains toilet system and resupply with fresh water
• Carry out daily cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment
• Full training in the operation of this equipment will be provided
• A practical and theory test will need to be completed and passed after training
• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing if necessary
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, if needed
