Job summary

The Link Academy in Dudley is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team and help provide a clean, welcoming and safe setting for learners, staff and visitors.

You will carry out cleaning duties to a high standard, dispose of waste safely, replenish supplies, maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance issues, with occasional cover for colleagues and a focus on health and safety.

Job description

Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment? The Link academy are looking for a Cleaner to join our team and help ensure our school provides a clean, welcoming and safe setting for learners, staff and visitors. Key responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard, safely disposing of waste, replenishing supplies, maintaining cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures. You will also report maintenance issues, support the upkeep of cleaning stores, and assist in covering for colleagues when required. Annual leave for this role is to be taken during periods of school closure.
