Walsall Council is recruiting Cleaners for various locations within the borough. Salary G2: £13.48 per hour. Hours are part-time, typically afternoon or early morning shifts at schools and council buildings.

Posts include Blue Coat Academy, Mary Elliot Academy, Abbey Primary School, Ryders Hayes Primary, and Alumwell Junior School with weekly hours ranging from 9 to 12.5. DBS checks may be required; staff must follow health and safety procedures and UK public sector language duties.

About you:

The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals/machinery.

You will need to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our schools and outlying buildings.

You will be expected to follow all operating procedures to ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.

Hours per week: 11.15hrs - Start Time: 3.15pm

(39 x weeks per year)

Hours per week: 10hrs - Start Time: 3.15pm

(38 x weeks per year)

Ryders Hayes Primary School

Hours per week: 9hrs - Start Time: 6.30am

(38 x weeks per year)

Alumwell Junior School

Hours per week: 12.30hrs - Start Time: 3.30pm
