Job summary

The University of Brighton is looking to recruit 2 cleaners for our Falmer Campus. Our Cleaners work flexibly as part of a small, friendly team and play a key role in ensuring a pleasant environment for staff and students.

Vacancies: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0600 to 0900. You will wear protective clothing in line with our uniform policy; interview discussions will cover details. In return, the university offers generous annual leave and an attractive pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to use standard cleaning equipment and follow Health and Safety instructions.
• Physical ability to move, use and lift cleaning equipment and materials.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• To possess an ability to work alone or as a member of a team
• The ability to use standard cleaning equipment and possess an understanding of the importance of following Health and Safety instructions/guidance
• The ability to physically move, use and lift cleaning equipment and materials on a regular basis

You will be required to wear protective clothing/uniform in line with our uniform policy, details of which will be discussed at interview. In return, the university offers a generous annual leave package, including time off over Christmas, and an attractive pension scheme.
