Job summary

Bolton Council is seeking cleaning operatives to provide cleaning services to schools across the borough. You will perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and toilet cleaning, with training provided and opportunities for staff benefits.

Roles are permanent with varied hours at multiple school locations in Bolton. A good level of physical fitness and ability to follow instructions are required; previous experience is not necessary.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit cleaning operatives to work within our Services for Schools department. The role is responsible for providing cleaning services to schools within the borough of Bolton. You will be required to undertake general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and toilet cleaning.

• Bromley Cross Library, BL7 9JR:
  5hrs per week
  8.30-9.30am Monday Friday
  52 weeks


• Heathfield, BL3 3TP:
  6.25hrs per week
  between 3.30-6.00pm Monday Friday
  Term Time + 3 weeks


• Eagley Junior, BL7 9AT:
  10hrs per week
  3.00-5.00pm Monday Friday
  52 weeks


• Markland Hill, BL1 5EJ:
  10.0hrs per week
  3.30-5.30pm Monday Friday
  Term time only + 2 weeks


• Woodland Primary, BL5 2NJ:
  10.0hrs per week
  4.00-6.00pm Monday Friday
  Term Time only + 2 weeks
