Caretaker - Ysgol Gymraeg Casnewydd

Location: Newport

Salary: £12.26 Per hour

Hours: 12.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 05:00 - 07:30am

We are currently recruiting an experienced Caretaker for Ysgol Gymraeg Casnewydd in Newport. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the site by keeping it clean, secure, and well-maintained, as well as undertaking various cleaning duties.

1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness
2. Report any defects or issues to the Area Supervisor
3. Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed
4. Provide excellent customer service

This is a part-time, permanent position working 12.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 05:00 - 07:30am. Full training will be provided if you are new to the industry. Ideally, candidates should have:

• Previous experience in caretaking, cleaning, or janitorial roles
• Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations, including machinery and product use
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with the public and clients
