Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council requires a School Cleaner at Ysgol Carreg Hir, Briton Ferry, for 12.75 hours per week during term time. The post offers a living wage level and progressive development opportunities within a supportive team.

The successful candidate will join a cleaning team recognised for service excellence and will undergo induction and training, with enhanced safeguarding checks where applicable.

Qualifications

Hours: 12.75 hours per week - 41 weeks per year - Term Time Working

Monday 3:30 pm - 6:15 pm

Tuesday to Friday 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Location of post: Ysgol Carreg Hir, Old Road, Briton Ferry, Neath, SA11 2ET.

We are currently looking for a School Cleaner to join Team NPT.

You’ll join our excellent cleaning team that was shortlisted for the Best Service Team category at the prestigious APSE Awards. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils areable to learn in a clean and safe environment.

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
