Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a cleaner for the Bus Station to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the building, including bus stands, toilets and facilities.
You will perform machine scrubbing, surface cleaning, waste removal and restock supplies, with flexibility to cover additional shifts when required. This is a bilingual, inclusive employer with generous leave and pension arrangements.
As cleaner at the Bus Station you will be expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building interior, including bus stands, toilets and bus operator’s facilities on the first floor.
Cleaning tasks will include machine scrubbing concourse floors, cleaning ladies, gents and disabled toilets, wiping all surfaces, emptying bins, replenishing washroom supplies, and keeping floors safe during wet weather.
Due to the large number of people who pass through the bus station every day, this is a high visibility position so you will need to be able to present a positive image of the Council at all times
Standard hours of work are.
Saturday 2pm – 10pm
Sunday 12pm – 4pm
Monday 6pm – 10pm
On occasions you may also be expected to provide cover for the morning cleaner.
