Job summary

Hoople Ltd is hiring a Cleaning Operative in Hereford for permanent, part-time hours (up to 12.5 hours per week depending on location). The role pays an hourly rate of £12.76 and involves carrying out a variety of housekeeping tasks to a high standard within a Council building.

Responsibilities include cleaning designated areas, mopping, vacuuming, desk and furniture cleaning, kitchenette and washroom cleaning, and handling cleaning chemicals.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will carry out a variety of housekeeping tasks, safely and professionally and to a high standard.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Cleaning of designated areas within a Council building.
• Mopping and sweeping floors
• Use of vacuum cleaners for the cleaning of carpets
• Cleaning desks and other furniture
• Cleaning of kitchenettes
• Cleaning of welfare facilities - washrooms
• Use of equipment and machinery and handling chemicals
• Empty waste bins, remove rubbish to collection areas
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
