Job summary

McAuley Catholic High School is seeking a reliable Cleaner for a part-time role during term time. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 7:30am, totaling 20 hours per week. Duties include cleaning floors and rooms, emptying bins, and maintaining hygiene stations.

A DBS check will be required and can be paid by the employer. Experience in cleaning or caretaking is preferred, with strong communication and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety considered
• Excellent communication skills for on-site client interactions
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms: dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming.
• Empty bins, clean restrooms, keep sanitary stations stocked.
• Build relationships with clients on site.
• Follow health and safety practices at all times.
• Report any defects or damages promptly.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.You’ll be working 20 hours per week,Monday to Friday 5:30am - 7:30am.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
