Job Description

Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to promote, deliver, and integrate the Council’s key objectives, specifically relating to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member or undergo a PVG Record Update before a formal offer of employment can be made. PVG records are updated regularly, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

Responsibilities

We follow national guidance "Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment". During the application process, you should provide details of at least two relevant references, including one from your current or most recent employer, which should be from an appropriate senior manager.

The Individual

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Catrine Nursery, working 10 hours per week with the following pattern:

• Monday to Friday: 2 options for working times, 6:00 am - 8:00 am or 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
