An established local authority seeks dedicated individuals to contribute to a clean and safe environment within various premises across the region. Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council’s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
The duties of this role involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council.
Please note: PVG records are continuously updated. Any relevant information disclosed on a PVG Scheme Record or Record Update will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment confirmation.
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Stewarton Academy, Stewarton.
The hours are 14.5 hours per week, scheduled as follows:
The pay rate is £12.96 per hour.
This position is temporary until 31st December 2025.
