Job summary

Piramal Healthcare UK Limited is seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Porter for a 12-month fixed-term contract to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within our facilities.

You will perform GMP cleaning duties in the Pharmaceutical Production area, restock supplies, assist with porter tasks, and ensure compliance with health, safety and SOP requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning or porter role, preferably in GMP/manufacturing.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines relevant to cleaning and manual handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMP cleaning duties across the production area.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Restock supplies as needed and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with general porter tasks including moving materials between departments.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere to SOPs and GMP requirements at all times.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Good Manufacturing Practice cleaning duties, across the Pharmaceutical Production area.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with general porter duties, including moving materials between departments or locations to support the overall manufacturing process.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the relevant department.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP requirements at all times.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cleaning or porter role, preferably within a GMP or manufacturing environment is preferable but not essential.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines relevant to cleaning, portering and manual handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and high housekeeping standards
• Effective communication skills.
• A flexible approach to work, including willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
