Job summary

Norse Group at Platts Common Depot is seeking a reliable Part-Time Cleaner for a maternity cover. The role is 3 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday mornings, 7:30am to 9:00am, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will be joining a team focused on maintaining clean, safe spaces for clients on site. You will perform standard cleaning tasks, maintain hygiene standards, report faults, and work with minimal supervision to keep areas tidy and safe for clients on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with on-site clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming).
• Empty bins and clean restrooms; ensure sanitation stations are stocked.
• Build positive on-site client relationships.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any defects or damages promptly.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You’ll be working 3 hours per week,Monday & Wednesday, 7:30am - 9:00am.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.


• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.


• Building relationships with clients on site.


• Following health and safety at all times.


• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.


• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.


• Confident working independently to your own initiative.


• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
