About us

To provide a cleaning service for building cleaning clients.

About the role

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.

Time: 15 hrs/week (52 weeks).

Main Place of Work: Mobile - transport provided to sites.

Description:

• To assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients.
• To cover other cleaners during periods of holidays, sickness, staff shortages, and other absences.
• To occasionally assist the chargehand / Site Supervisor with the training of cleaning staff.
• To undertake all aspects of cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, steam cleaning, site-specific cleaning, builders cleans, recess cleaning, and other cleaning not normally stated in the site specification.

About you

You will need:

• Previous experience in the cleaning industry or a related discipline/environment.
• Basic understanding of various cleaning tasks required to provide an efficient and effective premises cleaning service.
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to converse with members of the public and client officers.
• Be physically able to carry out manual and active laboring duties.
• Ability to work on own initiative and undertake duties effectively.
• Positive, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate.
