Job summary

Salford Council is seeking a cleaner for the Citywide services, working 10 hours per week Mon–Fri, 3:45pm–5:45pm. The role is permanent and year-round, with duties including cleaning, buffing, sweeping and vacuuming to a high standard.

Contract type: Permanent, All year round.

ANNUAL LEAVE MUST BE TAKEN IN SCHOOL CLOSURES

You will clean the building to a high standard ensuring that it is a pleasant environment for visitors and staff. Duties will include cleaning, buffing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning and other general domestic cleaning duties.

The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month (£10.25 per month from 5th October 2026).
