Job summary

Axis CLC Group is recruiting a dedicated cleaner to perform end-of-tenancy cleans on MOD properties across Wattisham and Honington. You will work in a small team and also handle tasks independently to ensure properties are returned to a high standard.

Role includes general cleaning plus deep-cleaning duties, with a regular 8:00–16:30 Monday–Friday schedule. COSHH knowledge and reliability are essential, with a company vehicle provided for site travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic cleaning is preferred.
• Good understanding of COSHH and safe use of cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

• Carry out end-of-tenancy cleans to a high standard across MOD properties.
• Perform general cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, bins.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks: oven cleaning, descaling, internal window cleaning, remove built-up dirt.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and use cleaning products safely.
• Work hours: Monday to Friday 8am–4.30pm.

The Role:

As part of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for carrying out end-of-tenancy cleans on MOD properties. You will typically clean 1–2 properties per day, depending on seasonal demand, across Wattisham (IP7) and Honington (IP31).

You will work as part of a team of two, with the ability to work independently when required. Duties will include general cleaning as well as deep cleaning tasks to ensure properties are returned to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out thorough end-of-tenancy cleans to ensure properties are returned to a high standard.
• Duties include general cleaning such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, wiping down surfaces, and emptying bins.
• You will also complete deep cleaning tasks including oven cleaning, descaling, internal window cleaning, and removing any built-up dirt or residue.
• Ensuring all areas meet required cleanliness standards, following COSHH guidelines, and always using cleaning products safely.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 4.30pm

About You:

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• A strong team player who contributes positively to a collaborative work environment.
• Flexible and reliable, willing to extend working hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
• Domestic cleaning experience is preferred.
• A good understanding of COSHH and safe use of cleaning materials is essential.
