Job description

Cleaner – Hewett Academy

£12.21 per hour

12.5 hours per week, 16:00-18:30

Norse Cleaning Division works in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship with Hewett Academy and are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part-time basis. You will be required to work 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 16:00 to 18:30.

The role

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining designated areas—mopping, hoovering, wiping down surfaces, emptying bins.
  • Building relationships with the on-site client.
  • Carrying out routine checks and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Reporting any issues or defects on site.
Our Successful Candidate

Ideally, you will have previous cleaning or caretaking experience, along with:

  • Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with clients on-site.
  • Confidence working independently and using your initiative.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable.
