Job summary

Leicester City Council is recruiting for a full-time Building Cleaning role across Leicester. You will work 37 hours per week at various city locations, with shifts from early morning to late evening, including weekends and bank holidays.

The job includes cleaning offices, washrooms and public spaces, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work independently and with others.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding role requiring good fitness.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks across offices: washing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
• Empty litter bins and dust, polish surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Clean toilets, showers and changing areas both inside and outside.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and adhere to safety guidelines.
