Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking enthusiastic cleaners to maintain high standards across our corporate sites. The role is onsite with flexibility for hybrid working where appropriate. Training will be provided, and you will operate as part of a small team while using your own initiative to plan daily tasks.

The starting salary is £25,614 per year, rising to £26,016, pro rata for part-time, with the option of hybrid working and a generous pension scheme. Closing date 30 November 2026, apply now.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of different cleaning methods and equipment.
• Basic awareness of Health and Safety.
• Prepared to work at other cleaning locations within the City boundary.
• Able to communicate at all levels.
• Experience of being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting.
• Washing of furniture and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery.
• Plan and adapt daily routine to meet site needs using own initiative.
