Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council in Scotland is seeking a Cleaner for Eaglesfield Primary School to join a friendly, supportive team. The role offers term-time hours during school terms with 14.5 hours per week and 39.8 weeks per year, with full training provided.

We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team at Eaglesfield Primary School. The role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.

About the role

You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.

Your duties will include:

• * Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
• * Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• * Supporting service improvements through our “Find it Clean, Keep it Clean” ethos
• * Working independently with support from the wider team

Working hours

You will be required to work 14.5 hours per week, 39.8 weeks per year.

3h 30min Monday, Wednesday and Friday

2h Tuesday and Thursday
