Job summary

Noblehill Primary School, operated by Dumfries and Galloway Council, is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our friendly team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. No previous experience is required – full training will be provided.

We offer term-time, family-friendly hours (11 hours per week across 39.8 weeks per year), full training, a uniform, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. PVG disclosure checks apply for employment.

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team at Noblehill Primary School. The role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.

About the role

You'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Supporting service improvements through our "Find it Clean, Keep it Clean" ethos
• Working independently with support from the wider team

Working hours

You will be required to work 11 hours per week, 39.8 weeks per year.
