Job summary

ALMAC requires a part-time cleaner for day and evening shifts at its Craigavon headquarters. The role involves maintaining high cleanliness standards in designated areas of the facility on a 20-hour-per-week schedule.

Shifts run from 0900 to 1300 (day) or 18:00 to 22:00 (evening) with a focus on safety, stock control, and adherence to GMP guidelines. The position is offered through CPL Group on a temporary, ongoing contract, with holiday entitlement and a focus on consistent performance and

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in office environments.
• Industrial cleaning experience including GMP standards.
• Experience using cleaning equipment such as floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of the facility as required, including areas needing higher standards.
• Move to additional areas to provide cleaning cover during absences.
• Be flexible with hours to accommodate business needs, including overtime and weekends.
• Use approved consumables and maintain stock levels at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and routinely complete stock order forms.
• Inform Line Manager of maintenance issues observed during duties.
• Keep Line Manager updated on progress and schedule changes.
• Maintain adequate PPE supplies at all times.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Fully adhere to training for Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

Central Cleaner - Day and Evening Shift - ALMAC

CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Cleaner to join their team on a temporary, on-going contract.

• Pay Rate - Days/Evening: £13.47 p/h plus applicable Evening Shift Premium 16.7% - (£15.72)
• Location – ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
• Benefits – 34 days holiday per annum
• Hours – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday· Day Shift - 0900 - 1300 EveningShift - 18:00 - 22:00

OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in designated areas of the Almac (Craigavon) facilities.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform Routine Cleaning of the Facility as required, including any additional areas which may require a higher standard of cleaning
2. Be required to move to additional areas to provide cover for periods of absence
3. Be required to be flexible with regards to hours of work to accommodate business need, this may include overtime and weekend work
4. Use Almac approved consumables and maintain a suitable level of stock at all times
5. Monitor stock levels and complete stock order forms on a regular and ongoing basis
6. Inform Line Manager of maintenance issues as and when they arise which are observed during performance of duties
7. Keep Line Manager informed on a regular basis of progress and any circumstances, which alter agreed time scales and work schedules
8. Maintain adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures
10. Fully adhere to training provided to ensure the Health Safety and Wellbeing of yourself and others

EXPERIENCE

• Previous cleaning experience in an office environment
• Previous cleaning experience in an industrial setting including knowledge of GMP standards
• Experience of using cleaning equipment, e.g. - floor buffers
