Job summary

Brambles Primary Academy in Huddersfield is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our Premises team. You will clean classrooms and offices, assist with maintenance tasks, and contribute to a safe, welcoming school environment.

We value flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude. Full training will be provided, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork within a supportive staff community.

Join Our Team as a Flexible and Enthusiastic Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to work alongside and support our experienced Premises team of staff. If you enjoy hands‑on work, have a good eye for maintenance, and would like to make a positive impact on the education of our young people, as part of a friendly, supportive team — this could be the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning of classrooms and offices e.g. hovering, polishing, wiping of surfaces
• Cleaning of toilet areas and communal spaces.
• Reporting of maintenance issues to the Site Manager

What We’re Looking For

• A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
• Previous experience in the cleaning industry is a bonus but not essential (full training will be provided for the right candidate)
• Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks safely using the correct equipment
