About The Role:

Working Days: 3.30pm-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. The role involves 39 term weeks plus 4 weeks of deep cleaning during the holiday period as agreed with the line manager. Due to the nature of the work, holidays are not permitted outside school holiday periods. A full Enhanced DBS check is required and will be provided by the company.

Are you passionate about maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a hygienic environment? OCS is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented cleaners to join our team. As a cleaner, you will play a vital role in keeping our facilities spotless and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sweep and vacuum all floor areas as required, based on the floor type.
2. Damp wipe doors, shelves, seating, kiosks, handrails, phones, fire hydrants, and collect waste or empty bins as needed.
3. Maintain all areas to be clean and litter-free at all times.
4. Keep public toilets and circulation areas clean, tidy, and free of litter, including lifts and stairs.
5. Address spillages immediately to ensure safety and cleanliness.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS check will be completed for the successful candidate.
• Experience in cleaning is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is also valued.
• Understanding of COSHH and experience working in similar environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules and their importance.
