Job summary

Aallscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a cleaner to serve at Aberdeenshire Council Education and Children’s Services premises. The post involves carrying out cleaning duties and helping maintain a safe, clean environment following the school day.

Working pattern: 4 hours daily in the afternoon/evening, with the possibility of splitting the hours to morning. PVG scheme check and at least one reference are required; employment is subject to pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme check required for regulated work with children and/or protected adults.
• References: at least one reference from current or most recent employer.

Carry out cleaning duties in Aberdeenshire Council Education and Children’s Services premises.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Working Pattern : 4 hours daily which is currently in the afternoon/evening after the school day, there is the possibility of splitting the hours to AM also.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory
