Job summary

Ver tas is recruiting a dedicated Cleaner to join the Facilities Team at Grand Opera House York YO1 9SW. The role is 18 hours per week, working 08:00-11:00, six days out of seven, with a temporary contract for about 12 weeks and potential for a permanent position.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, handle toilets and general cleaning, hoovering and mopping, and work with a team to deliver excellent service.

About the Role:

Based in Grand Opera House York YO1 9SW, you will be working Any 6 days out of 7 08:00-11:00, 3 hours per day (18 hours per week). You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers. Temporary work for approximately 12 weeks, with the potential to lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• General cleaning duties
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained

Who are we looking for?
