Job summary

Ibstock Plc is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our small, friendly school cleaning team. You will perform general cleaning tasks across classrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to keep the environment safe and well maintained for students and staff.

Training will be provided and you should be physically capable of repetitive tasks, lifting and bending. We value dependability and pride in high standards, with a supportive working environment that helps you contribute to a positive learning

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning settings desirable; training provided.
• Must be able to lift and bend and stand for long periods.
• Able to work efficiently and independently while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop, sweep and dust classrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Follow health, safety and infection control policies.
• Maintain and safely store cleaning supplies and replenish stock as needed.
• Report maintenance or hygiene issues to supervisor.

We are looking to recruit a hardworking, dependable and flexible cleaner to join our small and friendly team. The role is important in ensuring that our school is a safe, clean and well maintained environment for students and staff. • Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting of classrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
• Comply with all relevant health & safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored safely and stocks are replenished, as required
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the cleaning supervisor/facilities manager.

We are looking for someone who:

• Understands the importance of maintaining hygiene & safety in environments with children
  Can work efficiently, independently and takes pride in high standards
• Is physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting and bending.
• Ideally has experience in a similar setting, although training will be provided.
