Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Cleaner to support our client in Denby DE5. The role covers sweeping, mopping, vacuuming production areas and keeping machinery and workstations clean and sanitized. You will also handle waste, restrooms, and report safety issues.

Experience in commercial/industrial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of COSHH and GMP safety practices is advantageous; reliable teamwork or independent work capability is essential.

Qualifications

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as we are recruiting Cleaner to work in collaboration with our client located in Denby DE5.

Cleaner Pay:

• £13.45 per hour

Cleaner Shift:

• Mon to Fri 05:30 - 13:30
• Flexibility possible in start/finish time
• 30 min break
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming production floors, walls, and surfaces.
• Cleaning and sanitizing machinery, equipment, and workstations.
• Waste management (emptying bins, segregating waste).
• Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, changing areas, and offices.
• Safe handling, dilution, and storage of industrial cleaning chemicals.
• Reporting maintenance issues or health/safety hazards.

Cleaner Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in commercial/industrial cleaning is often preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (pressure washers, polishers).
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Understanding of safety protocols (COSHH, GMP for some sites).
