Job Information

Deliver excellent service standards for routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Main Duties

• Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role successfully.
• Work within a team and independently.
• Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness according to the contract and SLAs, completing daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Keep all equipment clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.
• Report any maintenance needs identified during cleaning tasks.
• Maintain security by locking doors, following lost property procedures, etc.
• Understand the designated cleaning area, work specifications, and time allocations.
• Know all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals used by Mitie.
• Set a good example in dress, behavior, punctuality, and attendance.
• Adhere to all Safeguarding Policies and report concerns per Mitie policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure contractors and visitors comply with security and health and safety policies on school premises.
• Build positive relationships with customers, deliver excellent customer service, and seek continuous improvement.
• Perform any other duties within capability as needed.
