Job summary

Sodexo in Tidworth is seeking a Cleaning Operative to deliver high-quality cleaning across offices, classrooms, washrooms and accommodation blocks. You will join a reliable team focused on safety and standards.

You will follow schedules, use COSHH-compliant cleaners and equipment safely, report issues, and contribute to a professional, tidy work environment. Prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety is desirable.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Experience working in a military environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules, company procedures and health & Safety requirements.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in line with COSHH regulations.
• Report any damaged or defective equipment to your Manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive approach at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
• Help maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
