Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Night Shift Cleaning Operative for NATS in Swanwick (SO317AY). The role is permanent, full time (40 hours/week) with a night shift pattern from Saturday to Wednesday, 20:45–05:45. The rate is £17.70 per hour, and you will also need to pass SC Clearance to be successful.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Experience using a CAFM system.
• Previous cleaning experience within commercial buildings.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional in your approach.
• Self-motivated, honest and able to work using your own initiative.
• Flexible and willing to undertake all required training.

Responsibilities

• Log tasks and record cleaning activities using the Merlin system on a mobile device.
• Carry out cleaning duties in line with schedules and site standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly at all times.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues while delivering excellent service.

You'll play an important role in ensuring designated areas remain clean, safe and compliant, while supporting excellent service delivery for our customer.

Please note, due to the site operations, you will need to pass an SC Clearance to be successful in the role.

Role Responsibilities

• Use the Merlin system via a mobile device to log tasks, complete checks and record cleaning activities.
• Carry out cleaning duties in line with agreed schedules and site standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly at all times.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues whilst delivering excellent customer service.
