Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Cleaner to deliver high standards of cleanliness and to meet SLA requirements for assigned sites. The role operates part-time hours, with 6.40 hours per week, mainly 5pm–10pm, Monday to Friday, at Town Hall Buildings in Farnham.

Successful candidates will communicate in basic English, be flexible, reliable and customer-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a team while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
