Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a part‑time Cleaner for a role based at a government site. The position involves cleaning duties, equipment maintenance and meeting health and safety standards, with training provided.

You will work in a team, sometimes independently, to deliver high standards of cleanliness and customer service. The role requires basic English communication and reliability, with opportunities for training and development.

• Location: Scottish Government, Tankerness Lane, Kirkwall, Isle of Orkney, England, KW15 1AQ

You will build knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, determine when cleaning is required, and use all cleaning equipment and chemicals on the premises in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
