Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is looking for a part-time Cleaner based at Scottish Water in Wigtown. The role involves ensuring equipment is cleaned and well-maintained, working effectively both in a team and autonomously, and building positive relationships with customers.

Job Details

Job Title: Cleaner

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Type of Employment: Part Time

Hours: 2 hours per week

Location: Scottish Water, Culhorn Depot, Wigtown, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, DG9 7DD

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs.
• Develop knowledge of the designated cleaning area, including cleaning schedule and appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals, following health and safety requirements.
• Complete all required training for the cleaning role.
• Work effectively within a team and can work autonomously.
• Build positive and productive relationships with customers, deliver excellent customer service, and seek continuous improvement to exceed expectations.
