Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Rhyl is seeking a Cleaning Operative to ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You will work to SLAs and follow Health and Safety requirements, with training provided.

The role is permanent and part-time, 3.5 hours per week, based at British Transport Police, Rhyl Station. You will work in a team, deliver excellent customer service and aim to exceed expectations while building positive working relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading and communication required.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Must complete all required training for the cleaning role.
• Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.

Job description

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements.

Rate of pay: £ 13.45 per hour

You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
