Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our site in Bristol. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of premises, equipment and surfaces, adhering to SLAs and safety requirements, and supporting the team to keep facilities in top condition.

You will be trained on required procedures and must read and communicate in basic English. Reliability, a proactive attitude and a willingness to work flexibly are essential to deliver consistent, high-quality cleaning services.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading ability required.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Job description

Job Title: Cleaner
Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour
Position Type: Permanent

Hours: 20 hours per week
Location: Hitachi Rail, Northway, Little Stoke, Filton, Bristol, England BS34 7QG

In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
