Job summary

Gap Personnel is seeking a dependable Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across office areas, canteen facilities, welfare areas and toilets at our Preston site. The successful candidate will help ensure a clean, safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors. Location: Preston.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 1:00pm (20 hours per week). Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour. This role requires reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while complying

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, corridors, and communal areas.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing hygiene products.
• Cleaning and maintaining canteen and kitchen areas, including worktops, tables, appliances, and sinks.
• Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Dusting surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing consumables such as toilet rolls, hand soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
• Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
