Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is seeking a Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness at Preston Fire Station. The role covers cleaning of offices, training rooms, reception areas, toilets and on-site accommodation, with a focus on hygiene and safety.

The working pattern is 5 hours per week, split as 6am-7am or 6pm-7pm, Monday to Friday. A Basic DBS check is required before starting, and candidates should have previous cleaning experience.

• Cleaning tasks including damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming.
• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, staff kitchens and dining areas.

• Cleaning and sanitising touch points such as door handles and surfaces.
• Waste management and disposal for internal and external areas.

Pinnacle Group are seeking a Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness of Preston Fire Station.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

The cleaner would be responsible for cleaning of all areas of the site including the fire station floor, training rooms, offices, reception areas, meeting rooms and toilets. You will also be required to clean the on site accommodation.

The suitable candidate will be required to work 5 hours per week, 6am to 7am OR 6pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning tasks including damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming and touchpoints.
• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, staff kitchens and dining areas
• Cleaning toilets facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
• To clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
• Waste management – collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas

Key requirements

• Use cleaning materials & equipment in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Cleaning experience.
• Due to the nature of the position a Basic DBS will be needed prior to starting.
