Job Title: Cleaner

Rate of Pay: £12.00 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Type of Employment: Part Time

Hours: 10 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday - 5.30AM - 7.30AM

Location: Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus, Fern Barrow, Poole, Dorset, England, BH125BB

Role Overview

As a Cleaning Operative, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order, meeting all SLAs. You will build knowledge of the cleaning area, equipment, and chemicals used, following Health and Safety requirements. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

1. Carry out day-to-day cleaning duties in a busy environment.
2. Work within a team and independently.
3. Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
4. Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

Candidate Requirements

1. Basic English communication and reading skills.
2. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
3. Flexible, reliable, honest, and hardworking.
4. Own transport is necessary due to early shifts and limited public transport.
