Day Shift Mobile Train Cleaner - Driving licence Required

Location: Manchester and surrounding areas - Newton Heath, Allerton, Heaton, Hull and Neville Hill depots

Start Date: 12th October (Initial 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement)

£13.45 per hour + overtime opportunities

The Role and About You

Are you reliable, hardworking and looking for an opportunity to build your experience within the rail industry? Join a mobile cleaning team travelling between key rail depots across the North.

As a Mobile Train Cleaner, you'll work as part of a team cleaning and maintaining trains to a high standard. You'll carry out external train cleaning, graffiti removal and other presentation duties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with the required standards.

You'll travel between different depots during the week, so a full UK driving licence with at least two years' driving experience is essential. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between locations.

Previous cleaning experience, particularly within industrial, transport or commercial environments, would be beneficial. You'll need to be physically fit for manual work, reliable, comfortable working across different locations and able to follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.

The role runs Monday to Thursday, with shifts between 07:00am and 17:00pm, and overtime available on Fridays. You'll receive £13.45 per hour, with additional overtime opportunities, a company vehicle and full PPE provided. You'll also receive the training needed to work safely within the rail environment.
