Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain safe, clean work environments across customer sites. You will perform general cleaning duties, including tidying spaces, floors, and communal areas, and may interact with customers to assist them as needed.

Regular tasks include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and waste disposal, alongside completing Health & Safety records and attending training. DBS checks and UK right-to-work verification are required during onboarding.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

working 11hrs over 3 days
tuesday and wednesday 6:30-10:00
thursday 6:30-10:30
overtime available covering holidays etc

As a Cleaner at OCS, you will play a crucial role in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

Key responsibilities:

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and other tasks as required.
• You may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed.
• You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• A background in cleaning would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Applicants of this role will be subject to additional clearance requirements as part of the onboarding process including an enhanced DBS and checks required under Safer Recruitment in Education.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need access to a smartphone that can support our approved work applications for tasks such as clocking in and out (if you are required to use our time and attendance system for your role), viewing schedules, completing training and receiving work-related communications.
