Job summary

Sense College Loughborough is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our team. The role runs 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 17:30 to 19:30, outside of college operating hours.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, handle routine cleaning tasks, and ensure a safe environment while complying with health and safety regulations. A positive attitude toward disabled people and flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow a daily cleaning schedule.
• Capable of performing cleaning tasks to a high standard.
• Works well in a team and can take directions.
• Positive attitude toward people with disabilities.
• Flexibility to adapt shifts or tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean to a high standard within Sense College.
• Vacuum, dust, wipe, polish, empty bins and disinfect toilets and sinks.
• Replenish cleaning materials and request orders as needed.
• Clean internal windows and surfaces where required.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment and follow safety regulations.

Job description

Sense College Loughborough is currently recruiting for a part time cleaner to join ourteam. This is a part time role working 10 hours per week, Mon-Fri 17:30 - 19:30, outside of college operating hours.

Dutiesof Role

• To provide the highest standards of cleanliness within Sense College.
• To maintain a hygienic and tidy standard of cleanliness by vacuuming, dusting/wiping, polishing, emptying bins and disinfecting toilets and sinks etc as necessary.
• To ensure adequate levels of cleaning materials, toilet rolls etc are maintained by refilling dispensers and informing personnel responsible for ordering when required.
• As required to clean all internal windows, skirting boards, windowsills, guide rails etc.
• To maintain a safe environment at all times.
• To comply with Health & Safety regulations.
• To ensure that all materials are stored appropriately.
• To report any broken/damaged equipment and maintenance issues to the appropriate person.
• To ensure the premises safety & security is maintained.
• To carry out any other duties consistent with the grade of the post
