Chestnut Lodge Care Home in West Croydon is seeking a Cleaner to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents. This role is within the Bramley Health group, a trusted provider of mental health and social care services.

You will clean public rooms and residents’ areas daily, follow the home’s policies and procedures, and help keep cleaning records and stock checks up to date. Training and development opportunities are available as part of Bramley Health.

Chestnut lodge is a 45 bedded mental health nursing home located in West Croydon, spanning across 3 floors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cleanliness is a vital pillar in the wellbeing of our service users and site. Without cleaners, some areas of this may fall short so this role is extremely important! The purpose of this role is to ensure our service is clean, hygienic, and therefore safe for everyone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all public rooms and bathrooms are checked/ cleaned daily


• Each residents room to be checked and cleaned at least once a week, or as directed


• Maintain cleaning records


• Complete weekly stock check of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are also fit for purpose

KEY SKILLS

• Happy to work on your own and to your own initiative


• Able to work within the companies policies and procedures


• Be responsible for personal health and safety at work
